Starting scenario is you with a holstered weapon. Attacker with a knife at 21 feet. Rate of closure is 1.54 seconds to stab you. Can you draw and fire (and hit the attacker) in the available time window? Most beginners can't. You discover details about your gear that hinder the performance. Thumb break leather holster vs open top Kydex. The latter is faster. A "too big" safety that gets bumped "on" when holstered leaving you non-functional until to switch it off. A magazine not tapped home so it fires once and closes on an empty chamber.
Suffice to say, a kydex holster is coming. I need a lot more practice. Draws at about 2.3 seconds from the leather. The mag release on the P365 is out of range for my strong hand thumb. Bad news if you need to reload, drop an empty mag or clear a double feed.
“I guess they are, On three we rush him! “
I was hoping it would be, “Up against the wall, redneck mother!,” but that used too many fingers.
“Up against the wall, redneck mother!”
Are there any mass shootings that have been done by rednecks?
I’m not aware of any. Why the stereotype?
Rednecks do some silly and even occasionally offensive things, but I think they are far more likely to be among those stopping mass murderers than being one.

Prosecute school boards for manslaughter.
Actually, it’s a song:

In the first instant, I thought it was five words, but when I slowed down I realized “redneck mother” was two words, not one like “mother******” is often presented.
No offence meant to any peaceable rednecks.
