I am a UCLA alum and it was quite a thriving haven for conservatives. It spawned the likes of pro-life activist Lila Rose and spokesmen Ben Shapiro among others. I don’t know how the main campus is now, but a very liberal student at its Law school told me that the Federalist Society is very prominent and conservatives do not hold back from expressing themselves.
The problem there is the too many social justice courses on campus. At Stanford, the univ (thank God) keeps the stupid lib courses at a minimum. Why? It costs MONEY especially if no one attends the classes. Plus, Stanford is private which adds to the cost / money situation unlike public UCLA..
