As Twitchy told you, ABC Entertainment has axed the Roseanne reboot over Roseanne Barrs abhorrent, repugnant tweet...if ABC is going to cite abhorrent, repugnant tweets as the basis for canceling a show or terminating talents employment, why did Keith Olbermann just get an expanded role at ESPN? Both ESPN and ABC fall under Disneys umbrella, but Olbermann gets a plum job and Roseanne loses hers?

David Harbour (Stranger Things) was rewarded with an Emmy nomination after encouraging people to punch Trump supporters in the face during the SAG Awards.

Double standards.

Steve, I had Roku and a sibling gave me the Prime Fire Tv streamer. Sling tv gave me a Roku for signing up.
Once I tried the Fire tv, the Roku went into a junk drawer and is still there, a year later.
Yet, a friend has a Roku and loves it.
My wife calls herself a neanderthal when it comes to electronic gear.
She uses her great mid west voice without any accent to ask for a specific tv show with the Fire Tv remote. Sling and the Fire tv understand her about 99.9% of the time and guide her to what she wants to watch.
We have added the CBS streaming App, Acorn for Brit tv and Hallmark when my wife wants something lite. Those cost us about $5/mo per add on, All of them work with the Sling/Fire Tv set up.
Some “animals” are just more equal than other animals.
(Can is still say ‘animals’ without needing to apologize?)
Yes.
I'm waiting for the lid to blow on this whole worldwide sex trafficking enterprise. IMO, it is HUGE and will shock people when the truth is exposed.
That’s OK - except for Roseanne, none of my favorite shows are ever on ABC.....they threw away the one reason many of us would ever tune them in....
Thanks. I have Amazon prime but not the amazon remote. maybe that is new? I wonder if it absolutely necessary or simply a user interface option. I wonder if I can get say Fox News, velocity, and hbo channels to name 3.
The Amazon Fire Tv is an excellent streaming device with a good internet wifi connection.
Prime has a lot of excellent tv programs on Prime tv.
Lately they have been adding apps for CBS, Acorn (Brit tv) and other apps for about $5 per month. They usually work well with the Fire TV. If they don’t, you email Prime and tell them to get their act together.
Sling Blue via Fire TV gets better each day re memory of what you have watched and with the voice search commands.
Some are sleepers and are excellent buys. We like PBS for the Brit shows, so we joined PBS and donate 5 $’s/month via Fire TV, and now there is an incredible line of new and old PBS shows, we didn’t know about.
Sling Blue has some low price options like the Hallmark app that is included with the cooking and home improvement shows.
