A member of the German Parliament has offered British activist and independent journalist Tommy Robinson asylum in Germany following his arrest for livestreaming outside the trial of a child grooming gang.
Robinson, 35, was arrested on Friday for suspicion of breaching the peace for his reporting and is now serving a prior 13 month suspended sentence for a similar offense.
German conservative MP Petr Bystron announced on Sunday that he is offering the political prisoner asylum.
“Tommy Robinson is a political prisoner, whose life is in clear and pressing danger. We have to do everything we can to make sure he is granted political asylum,” Bystron’s office said in a statement provided to The Gateway Pundit.
“As we know, German asylum laws are applied very liberally. Since 2012, 1.8 million mostly economic migrants have come to Germany under these asylum laws, even though they were not actually persecuted politically,” said Bystron, who himself came to Germany as a political refugee from Communism when he was 16.
The statement continued on to say that Robinson is an actual victim of political persecution and that he is appealing to the German Federal Government, the German Foreign Office, the European Union and all human rights organizations — including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch — to step in and fight for his freedom and grant him asylum in Germany.

You have a valid point, which I thought about mentioning. But in Germany he would be free to live where he could avoid that problem, in prison in England he will not be able to do that.
Now will he want to move to Germany? And will England allow him to leave? Is suspect both are no.

This arrest is directly attributed to the judge of the proceedings yesterday. Tommy was livestreaming and being very careful about not showing any of the people who were showing up, not riling up anyone, not using any names, only saying “Leeds Court”...but the judge was watching him from the window. It looked like just before the judge was ready to do the sentencings, he had the police arrest Tommy.
I have a really hard time understanding the Crown’s ability to just issue such a huge gag order. They can just shut the press down, all of it. Some of it’s Brexit, some of it is the reason behind all those “updated privacy” notices we’ve all been getting.
There are whole chunks of the world where the people in power can just turn off the internet. Amazing!
Oh, and just because it says “Court”, don’t blame the royals. This is all politics. ENgland feels that they can’t mention the hordes of Muslims who are invading and making life hell for the Brits. I believe that those idiots in power (including the Muslim mayor of London) are afraid of a mass uprising.
If they think you’re thinking racist thoughts, they can and will and have arrested you. Sick!
