I do not believe this!
Why in the hell would the state of Alaska do this knowing it would get them in trouble. They have a lot of Salmon and Caribou to feed them, goat and sheep are in short supply in Alaska. If they really did this it was just stupid.
If this old man is ever imprisoned in Alaska I shall say that my religion only allows me to eat only Sockeye
Salmon, smoked, broiled, and raw ceviche salmon. If such was in short supply I could be compelled to eat rare rib eye steak.

I suppose it would be too cruel to the animals, but you could put just one in the prison alive and the prisoners could figure it out. And don’t stop the riot when half of the prisoners finally get hungry, and the other half don’t want their “girlfriend” killed.
