“Neither collectivism or racism are conservative principles.”
The Truth “Trumps” both of those “principles!”
“The Truth ‘Trumps’ both of those ‘principles!’”
Well everyone argues that the truth is on their side.
The idea of excluding people from the possibility of employment based on the color of the skin is first, illegal, at least for the job position under discussion.
But second, when companies hire people, they have the opportunity to look at applicants’ job histories, references, and other factors to determine qualifications and indications of personal character. They do not use statistics and select a candidate because their skin color increases the likelihood of being a good employee.
Would you rather hire a black, Christian, conservative who is clean cut and has a strong track record, or a white liberal as an employee?
I assume from your screen name that you’re ex-military. Don’t you think there are plenty of ex-military black men who could make great security guards? I’ve worked side-by-side with some. And I’ve also observed less-reliable white security guards in the same exact position sleeping on the job and with alcohol on their breath at the end of their shift. And the one I’m thinking of particularly was an ex-cop. I’d much rather place my safety in the hands of the particular black security guard who I worked with than the white ex-cop who was not so reliable.
And speaking of Trump, he is making efforts to reach out to blacks. Blacks are a permanent part of this society. Rather than permanently ostracizing them because of the wrong behavior of a significant percentage, why not work to show the ones who want to join us that conservatism and “truth”, as you put it, lead to a better life for all of us?
