Well they certainly do control the language. What I fear the most is that President Trump will drain the swamp, but as soon as he is gone it will fill right back up again.
I used to have faith that Republicans were honest and patriotic. I have lost that faith watching McConnell, Gowdy, Ryan, and especially Sessions, et. al. cover and support these investigations against the people’s choice.
I don't think the swamp is drainable, and the best we could hope for is the equivalent of copper sulfating the crap out of it to clear the algae.
This morning, I'm less hopeful about even that limited task than I have been in the last year and a half.

I share like fears. Amid some perpetual rush-hour of chasing family & job, “We the People” allowed politicians, like the ones you cite, become masters and not the public servants they pretend to be. Now push awaits shove. Will hook & jab decide a winner?
