Stone then referred to Sessions as a “comatose Keebler Elf” and “a man who must be removed and sent back Alabama.”
“He’s either compromised or doddering,” Stone told House. “I believe he’s compromised. I believe he discussed with Carter Page removing sanctions on the Russians and that is what is being held over his head.”

Sessions put Trump between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand he’s got a singularly powerful, runaway SC trying to destroy his presidency. Otoh, he has Grassley and the rest of the GOP swamp monsters threatening to unleash hell on him—Trump—if he touches a hair on Sessions’ head.
Sessions really did a number on Trump with that blindside recusal. How anyone can defend him idk.
Session’s is about as useless as tits on a warthog. If he had any dignity, he’d recuse himself as AG.

We all hope for the best. I’ve read a number of Huber’s tweets and nearly fell asleep. They were all a pale vanilla ht to the official line. I also read that Huber’s biggest case to date was the sale of an illegal gun. Then there’s the fact he’s a Democrat, originally appointed by Obama.

The rot goes very deep. So who here has Sesssions’s back or Trump’s back when the deep state sends assassins after them or their families? They are particularly vulnerable. Sessions might be completely compromised. I don’t know but I think the struggle for our freedom is going on in earnest and millions of us are just standing by and complaining like McDonald’s got our food order wrong.

But Sessions is not the boss. What’s important is what Trump thinks:
Trump expressed his disappointment in the Justice Department during a Fox News interview in which he said Comey is “guilty of crimes” that could be uncovered “if we had a Justice Department that was doing their job.
When asked why he doesn’t push the department to do more, Trump say he’s staying out for now.
“Because of the fact that they have this witch hunt going on with people in the Justice Department that shouldn’t be there, they have a witch hunt against the president of the United States going on, I’ve taken the position, and I don’t have to take this position and maybe I’ll change, that I will not be involved with the Justice Department,” he said. “I will wait until this is over. It’s a total, it’s all lies and it’s a horrible thing that is going on, a horrible thing.”
Trump has repeatedly lashed out at Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who heads the department, for recusing himself from the Russia investigation. Trump has previously called on the department to target leakers, but no one has been prosecuted for leaks critical of the Trump administration.
“So very disappointed in my Justice Department,” Trump said. “Because of the fact it is going on, and I think you will understand this, I have decided I won’t be involved. I may change my mind at some point because what is going on is a disgrace. It is an absolute disgrace. By the way only collusion is with Democrats and Russians.”
