To: Titus-Maximus

I watched the move “the Promise” about 6-8 months ago. It was recommended by a couple of friends.

Thought it was well done. Probably less bloody than the actual genocide was, but it was not gory or sick in content. It was certainly tragic.

Not sure I can ever forgive the Turks for what they have done to some of my Syrian Kurd friends.

Turkey is playing the US. Putin is playing with Erdogan, like a cat plays with a mouse. Erdogan is totally disloyal to every one. That will eventually consume him.

Saw the movie and it was good. We need more of it.

What is ironic is that Russia and Turkey are traditional enemies, in fact the Turks claimed the Armenians were secretly helping their orthodox Russian brethren. Turkey being on Germany’s side in WWI.

Gallipoli was the failed effort by the Brits to open the straits for Russia to the Black Sea.
