Obama changed rules and regulations to cover them all. FISA rules changed to allow large amount of people to see who’s being wired...

The Inspector General is where you send investigations that you want to put on a back burner, and then they eventually dissolve into ‘recommendations’ and ‘suggestions’ to avoid similar mistakes by government organizations going forward.

They are not the place where you send investigations that require legal actions, criminal charges and consequences.

If criminal activity is found, surely law enforcement could step in and make arrests as they would with any criminal. No?

Can’t the IG also pull any and all department generated documents and communications including all emails, texts, phone calls, etc independent of time?

Anyone who thinks Donald Trump, Dan Coats and John Kelly were deceived by this is naive.

Just because the IG is looking at this does not mean that a US Attorney is not also looking. That part would not be made public.

Exactly! So, then, Obama, Brennan, Clapper, McCabe, Yates, Clinton, Lynch et al, are untouchable.

I think the President is way out in front on this, based on the Monday meeting: https://www.bizpacreview.com/2018/05/22/heres-what-changed-after-trumps-big-meeting-with-rosenstein-and-wray-on-monday-636940

Rosenstein is essentially out of power on this, and will have to meet and fully collaborate with DNI Director Coats, Nunes, WH COS, and Director Wray. So, effectively, Trump didn't fire anybody; he just gave them new bosses. Lovin’ it!

IG can uncover leads related to wrongdoing of both current and former employees. IG is not allowed to subpoena or question former employees but can subpoena and question current employees and also ask about their knowledge of the wrongdoings of former employees.

If testimony and evidence are obtained against former employees, a criminal referral can be sent by the IG to DOJ.

Rosencriminal & his band of co-conspirators certainly know how to play the bureaucratic, stall & run-out the clock, game don’t they?

I’ll take Meadows for $1,000 Alex! Rosenstein is in trouble so he tries to pretend he gives a damn about Mueller’s illegal, rogue operations.

Rosenstein should be fired by Trump on the grounds that he is incompetent by the fact that he knew or should have known that Mueller’s powers were illegal/unconstitutional when he posed as an AAG and gave 4 of his men unconstitutional powers to expand their investigative powers.

You can fire someone that high because they are “incompetent”. That’s what got Comey (lying coming under this rubric).

Covering up evidence is another hook on which to hang Rosenstein re the delay in getting Clinton emails out to Congress, etc. etc., etc.,
