“The Democrats have a big plan on confiscating all guns in the Republic but are clueless.....”

Don’t worry, they have no such plan, not at the national level anyway. I researched schemes for registration, confiscation, martial law, & presidential executive orders all during the 2016 campaign just to keep my blood pressure down. I concluded it’s not doable, at least not in the Australian manner (a nation with less than one tenth our population). For one thing, there’s no national registry like the Aussies have.

But there is a real danger - GVRO/Red Flag laws that are now being passed in the bluer states, where anyone can go to the po-po and denounce someone they don’t like as a deranged armed threat to others. No questions asked.

Po-po gets a GVRO then goes to denouncee’s house & seizes their guns. No warning, no due process. It’s a legal version of SWATing and unlike the latter, bears little penalty for making false statements to police/judge. California is currently the worst state for GVRO abuse.

Learn more and beware. Confiscation one citizen at a time is here.

“In his opinion, U.S. District Judge Alfred Covello said that while AR-style rifles and the magazines that come with them “are in common use” by Americans, the state’s prohibition on ownership of the semi-automatic rifles doesn’t affect a citizen’s right to self-protection and is within the rights of a state to provide for “public safety and crime control.””
Maybe one rifle at a time in one state at at a time.
