President Trump has the authority to fire AG Sessions anytime he wants. He has not (yet) WHY?

I wondered the same thing for a long time (and still do, to some extent) - but I think the reason is that those worthless “good ol’ boy” Senators refuse to confirm a replacement AG, and refuse to officially go on break so that Trump can fire Sessions and name an interim AG. I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong. :-)

Package deal. Fires Session, Rosenstein takes over until a new SOS is confirmed. He has to fire them both.

Because grassley said he would not allow another AG to be approved. That would leave resenwiesel AG for the rest of Trumps presidency.
