Good to see that Mr North is putting the focus where it should be. If there were no guns, would this problem go away? Putting the focus on guns is a convenient way of not having to face the real issue with our culture. As much as the media always tries to somehow blame the incidents on conservatives or Christians, it always turns out to be democrats and atheists.

The same thing was said back in 1968 after the murder of Bobby Kennedy. But in this case he is correct. Back then TV shows and movies were so mild, they nothing like what is put on the screen today.

There is a contemporary fundamental problem with boys.From the beginning, unlike girls, boys had to do something to earn entrance into the tribe. Girls automatically become women at puberty, but boys needed to show their worthiness. Today, white boys often feel inadequate, and black boys often feel alone and angry. Commonly, playing a sport has filled that need, but not so much anymore. There simply aren’t enough opportunities for all boys in sports. In some rural groups, killing a deer still offers that passage for boys, but not so much for urban boys. This is a tragedy of enormous proportions, and has nothing to do with guns.

No, not ritalin. SSRI’s, and that’s proven. After several of these shootings by teenage boys, the pharmas were forced to add “suicidal or homicidal ideation” to the package insert (label stating risks of drug). SSRI’s are a certain class of anti-depressant, some examples: zoloft, prozac, paxil. They can affect brain/hormone chemistry SPECIFICALLY in adolescent males. SSRI’s have been taken by every (!) violent school shooter.
