You are correct to say we should be careful about accepting Kanye West as a conservative...he likely isn't.

That said, Kayne West is a black American, and while the extent of his cultural sway in the black community is open to debate, it is true that someone with 28 million followers on Twitter is, by today's standards, and worthy person to have saying positive conservative things in a public forum a real win. Whether he is a conservative or not isn't really at issue...it is that he respects people with conservative values (such as Thomas Sowell and Candace Owens) and said so in a very public way, and not only that, didn't fold like a cheap suit when he was attacked. I do believe it is a positive development.

The President does not need the support of all aAfricans. He needs West to be of assistance in convinceing perhaps only 15% of black voters to see the MAGA light.

Twenty eight million is a large number. I would doubt most of them vote.

However, West has done the left great harm with his promotion of MAGA
