First lady Melania Trump returned to the White House on Saturday following several days in the hospital after a kidney procedure, her office announced.
The first lady was released from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., five days after a procedure to treat a benign kidney condition.
“She is resting comfortably and remains in high spirits,” the White House said in a statement. “Our office has received thousands of calls and emails wishing Mrs. Trump well, and we thank everyone who has taken the time to reach out.”
Her office has described the procedure as a success, with the first lady tweeting Wednesday that she was “feeling great.”
President Trump visited the first lady several days this week at the hospital, which is located just outside Washington.

Since hospitals are noisy germ filled places with inedible food. I’m sure she will recouporate extremely well at home.

I am so glad she is home. I was worried at the length of the stay at the hospital. I have a friend that had a kidney transplant, and I don’t think it was much longer stay.....I’m not implying anything, just wondered. She is a wonderful FLOTUS.
Sounds like she had a benign tumor that was growing. They tied off it’s blood supply so it will die. Thank goodness it was not cancerous. They were probably pretty worried for a little bit until it was biopsied and found benign.
Good news. Took longer than I’d prefer though for “routine” at age mid-40.
I understand. When this was announced at the first of the week they stated she would be in the hospital for the week and I thought that was a fairly long time, I think they were just being super cautious.
By Wednesday or Thursday the leftist media was trying to imply there must be something wrong because she wasn’t released as yet, of course both President Trump and First Lady Melania are targets of the enemedia.
Agreed. I hope she can separate herself from that and maybe go to FL. Once her docs give her the all clear. The weather in DC is horrible these days
I’ll bet that somehow her room was the polar opposite in every respect.
