Property taxes are a direct and intentional attack on families.

I agree it's a direct attack. Not sure about the intent. A lot of the damage I ascribe to greed and expedience, not malice. But it's a dang shame the cardinal rule of public policy isn't the same as it is in medicine: First, do no harm.
