He’s a Trump appointee. Obama appointed Huber. Trump fired Huber, along with all the rest of the US Attourney’s and then Trump rehired him. Why? Why would Trump rehire him?
Sessions hired Huber as an interim US Attorney. Trump then took Sessions' advice and nominated Huber.
There are some similarities between the Huber pick and the Rosenstein pick.
Why do you think Trump would rehire Rosenstein?
I do know that Trump has said that hiring Rosenstein was a mistake.

Good point. It doesn’t mean there’s anything special about that, however. He could have just been listening to advice from some deep-state plant.
I also can’t understand why he wanted Sessions as AG. CLEARLY the position required Rudy - or at least a Rudy type... someone who was going to actually hold people accountable for their crimes. Sessions is obviously too old, feeble and entrenched in the swamp to have any of the necessary fire in him. It was a lousy choice from day one - from someone who DOESN’T make lousy choices.
