LS is Larry Schweikart. He's an author and historian who has some connections inside the political world.
Can you post that timeline? I haven’t seen any public report indicating when “that change” took place.
Understood — thanks for clarifying that.
Funny. Your style of writing is a lot like his.
Even a lot of the same words, unusual words.
I once was on his email list, until I disagreed with
him about Mueller being on Trump’s team.
Your style reminds me of his style, from the numerous
ping emails I once received.
As far as a time line, I speculate that when Mueller decided
to squeeze him. But we do know the original FBI agents
did not believe he was lying. That we know as a fact.
Here is a short, brilliant and d@mning article on why some are indicted for perjury while Clapper was allowed to skate. [Note: the part I omitted was as excellent as what I posted; immanently worthwhile to read the entire, brief analysis]:
‘WHY NO PERJURY INDICTMENT FOR CLAPPER?
by Jacob G. Hornberger
June 13, 2013
The feds indicted and prosecuted Martha Stewart for lying to federal investigators about a stock trade. They also indicted baseball star Roger Clemens for supposedly lying to Congress about drug abuse.
So, the obvious question arises: Why no perjury indictment against Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper, Jr.
Consider the following testimony that Clapper gave to Congress last March:
Senator Ron Wyden: Does the N.S.A. collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?
Clapper: No, sir. Not wittingly.
In light of the revelations regarding the super-secret NSA surveillance scheme on the American people, which is no longer super-secret, what other conclusion can be drawn than that Clapper knowingly, deliberately, and intentionally lied to Congress?’
snip
I’ll tell you why theyre not indicting James R. Clapper, Jr. Its because he is a high official in what has effectively become the national-security branch of the U.S. government, a branch that consists of the Pentagon, the CIA, and the NSA. For all practical purposes, officials in the executive, legislative, and judicial branches arent about to enforce their perjury laws against what they know has grown into the most powerful of the four branches of the federal government.’

You're right Lent - it's the wrong time to give out passes to Washington 'elites'... Yes, prosecute the case... allow the law to do it's magic and heal the country.
I have a bachelor's degree (when it meant something) and spent 34 years in the corporate world - facing monthly, quarterly and yearly volume/profit numbers - retired now five years.
The last two books I started to read I put down because the villain was a predictable religious, white, male right-winger. I am now rereading 'The Original, Illustrated Sherlock Holmes' collection.
I voted Reagan twice and was one of the few early supporters of Trump in this forum.
I hope this helps.
What an asinine thing to ask or post.
How old are you? Are you in junior high computer lab class?
Geez.
There are a lot of out's there, to do nothing.
Hey...we investigated this for a long time, but in the end we felt we couldn't do anything about it.
But, at the end of the day, what does that really get you? Does it put you on a path to be in league with Washington & Lincoln? Will Trump be referenced and studied for generations on just those accomplishments? No, the objective here is no different than that of the two referenced titans: the literal savior of the republic. That requires big game mode with high level strategic thinking.
So, how do you do it? Yeah, he could literally send in the Marines today, and with 50% support of the country, strong-arm the collapse of the deep state. Or, he can conduct a large scale pyscho-drama that provides a gateway for 60%+ of the American people to fully comprehend what occurred, what was attempted, and allow them to reach their **own** conclusions as to justice.
Mark my words, the objective is for treason to be as calmly understood & discussed as to what to have for dinner. When it's no longer a shock or surprise, then the resolve to deal with the attempted theft **of our country** (jeez, what would they have had in store for us?) will become mechanical. Take the emotion out, take out all possible explanations and defense, and you have an electorate abandoning the enemy.
OT. As a huge, massive Holmes/Conan-Doyle fan, I offer a suggestion in a similar genre. Namely, The Middle Temple Murder. Here is an excerpt from an Amazon review:
‘I rate this novel 5 stars. I rate it primarily on originality, plot and pacing, and the ability to mask the identity of the culprit to the very end. This may be one of the most original crime novels ever written. I’m of the opinion that this may be the first ever “Procedural” type of crime story. Where the story is revealed bit by bit as the facts become available, and in a logical sequence that doesn’t stretch the reader’s credulity, while at the same time taking numerous twists and turns along the way. Anyone familiar with the style of CSI or Law and Order would easily recognize the way the story is built up. And the surprise ending? A surprise! What else could it be. You won’t be able to figure out who the murderer is until the very end.’

Thank you. Will look into it.
Thanks for your ping! This is a great observation!
He/she is the brilliant one.
