You might be correct.... but my suspicion is the underlying condition is Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) with at least some if not a lot of comorbidity with the other three Cluster B, Axis II personality disorders.
Her uncontrollable narcissistic rage is the first thing that leaps out of the story. Her obvious lack of empathy and compassion is another indicator of extreme narcissism. Thirdly, most full spectrum narcissists have an addiction to either alcohol, drugs or sex... And sometimes all three. This one seems to at least be addicted to alcohol.
Another poster on this thread suggested the golf pro might be “addicted to the crazy”....and is probably more right than he knows. My experience with a narcissistic sociopath was one of the most difficut things I have ever tried to escape..... primarily because of the over-the-top sex and the intensity of the relationship.
We can agree on this though, he needs to run like hell in the other direction.... like I finally did.
There is a woman who runs a website completely devoted to these issues in women. Its truly like getting involved with a live grenade. They’ll grab the first thing and try to kill you with it.
Oh man, you got that right. My husband’s ex is a sociopathic narcissist with borderline traits. They have children. It’s pure hell for everyone and she’s destroying the children’s lives.
