Companies that do business in socialist countries should expect them to take over at any time

Witness the end result of Socialism. This truly is the “locust” phase where the government grabs every single thing that looks remotely productive. They will run this factory into the ground like they have run everything else into the ground. Then there will be nothing productive left and everyone will be operating at a subsistence level as in North Korea.

Well aint that super cereal. Plant given to the workers eh? Well that is a recipe for roaring success. In 6 months the plant will be indistinguishable from Gaza

Now Maduro can find some Communist judge in NY appointed by Obama to rule that Kellogg’s has to continue to pay the workers to keep the plant open. Crazy.

He’s going to keep running the company but he’s got no money for supplies and raw materials or workers. Yeah right.

Now he will have to confiscate the grain to make the cereal. And the other ingredients. And the packaging maker. And the trucks.

Kellogg's needs to sever all ties to the site and publicize they have nothing to do with cereal manufacturing there. Make sure all branding and packaging materials are removed. Sue anyone there using Kellogg's logo.
Must be a nightmare of every global conglomerate, a subsidiary making product without control or oversight from the head office.
Think of Bhopal, India and Dow Chemical...

He said the factory had been handed to workers and would continue production.
Earlier, workers had said they had been prevented from entering the plant in the central city of Maracay on Tuesday.
So which is it?

Just a guess, but I suspect the factory hasnt operated in a long time anyway. Kelloggs probably just announcing it so they can officially wind up the business and stop filing and paying local taxes
