Some have speculated that if he died before May 31 an election could be held this year in Nov.
Otherwise the appointee would serve until the 2020 election cycle. Apparently he isn’t
going to resign regardless of his health situation.
That would be a special election. Of course I have no idea if Arizona has this, or not
