A new bombshell report reveals that the FBI may have had a mole embedded in the Trump campaign.
In an opinion piece published in the Wall Street Journal on Thursday, Kimberly Strassel unpacked some stunning developments in the battle between the Department of Justice and House Intelligence Committee members.
House Intel Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, D-Calif., and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., received a classified briefing at the DOJ on Thursday, viewing classified documents about a top-secret intelligence source that was part of the FBI probe of the Trump campaign.
According to Strassels Wall Street Journal piece:
The department knew full well it should have turned this material over to congressional investigators last year, but instead deliberately concealed it.
House investigators nonetheless sniffed out a name, and Mr. Nunes in recent weeks issued a letter and a subpoena demanding more details. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosensteins response was to double downaccusing the House of extortion and delivering a speech in which he claimed that declining to open the FBIs files to review is a constitutional duty. Justice asked the White House to back its stonewall. And it even began spinning that daddy of all superspook argumentsthat revealing any detail about this particular asset could result in loss of human lives.
This is desperation, and it strongly suggests that whatever is in these files is going to prove very uncomfortable to the FBI.
Nunes could not view the information because it apparently could risk lives by potentially exposing the source, a U.S. citizen who has provided intelligence to the CIA and FBI, The Washington Post reported Tuesday.
This would amount to spying, and it is hugely disconcerting. It would also be a major escalation from the electronic surveillance we already knew about, which was bad enough, Strassel noted. Now we find it may have also been rolling out human intelligence, John Le Carré style, to infiltrate the Trump campaign.
I believe I know the name of the informant, but my intelligence sources did not provide it to me and refuse to confirm it, Strassel wrote. It would therefore be irresponsible to publish it.
But what is clear is that weve barely scratched the surface of the FBIs 2016 behavior, and the country will never get the straight story until President Trump moves to declassify everything possible, she concluded. Its time to rip off the Band-Aid.

Treasonous misuse of government."
We shouldn't be surprised that a usurper would do such things.
The founders and framers put the protections in place for a reason. It was up to our country to make sure we enforced those protections...."we" failed.
A most excellent and very insightful comment!
If Halper is the guy, his role was to lure people from the Trump campaign and try to feed them false information. He didn’t have to be inside the campaign to do this.
Thanks Gramps.
How many of these types are there? Mitre Corp is another place I’d be looking for these types.
In-Q-Tel was started out of Mitre. I actually did business with a company funded by In-Q-Tel back in the day.
Sessions is the spy.
Sessions got on the Trump train because Sessions had been against illegal immigration for a long time. In fact, no one fought against illegal immigration more than Sessions.
That’s why Sessions supported Trump. The other republicans only offered lip service to the issue.
If someone is going to back stab you, it’s gonna be a Republican Senator.
That’s what they do. That’s all they do.
Trump has two bullets in his gun he has not fired yet.
One, he can de-classify the stuff that DOJ has been concealing from Congress.
Two, he can wait a bit and allow the attorneys for the Russian facebook defenders to have discovery. Sunlight is a great disinfectant.
So who was the first swamp critter to stand next to Trump?
Sessions.
*****************
Sessions complicity with the cabal is pretty obvious by now. It appears that he was a Deep State plant from the outset.
If Sessions is not the mole, he is still a person of interest because of his refusal to cooperate or comply with congress legitimate requests for information. Sessions is hiding something.
These are the very reasons that it is NOT Sessions.
Maybe.
Sessions looks the original Judas to me though.
But for him, none of this Russian crap would be occurring.
Imagine how much Trump would have won by in an honest election.
As my tagline says non-citizens are voting.
If true that 3.6 million of them are eligible to vote in CA alone, then how many vote all over and influence the results unfairly. Here illegally, vote themselves generous Dem entitlement handouts, and the American taxpayer picks up the tab and goes without in their own budgets due to them.
Someday CNN and MSNBC will do features on “how could these rednecks unfairly shoot at undocumented people in this Civil War II? Let’s go to Wolf Blitzer who’ll ask Kamala Harris.”
Thanks. You/we need to read this several times.
It is mind blowing, and I had to go back 3 times in the history of this Deep State Thug.
Copy of appendix of Nunes subpoena reviewed by @LauraAJarrett says he wants "all documents" involving an individual described as intel source. Conaway told me DOJ is "overplaying" its hands and he's "not convinced" disclosure could lead to loss of lives. https://t.co/Uitv0vqHS3— Manu Raju (@mkraju) May 9, 2018
Wait, so Valerie Jarrett's daughter working at CNN gets to know who it is, but not us?
If Sessions did not recuse himself, the libs would use that the investigation was fixed for the 2018 and 2020 elections.
It had to be this way, so when Trump gets exonerated it will be clean or cleaner.
After slowly connecting the dots, and looking at the Bush Family trashing of Trump, I’m thinking an Ex-Bush guy with connections to National Security.
The Bush Family has deep connections with the CIA.
Maps with Halper pretty close.
My guess is it’s Kelly!
Get real, it clearly did not have to be this way. Sessions should have never taken the job, just as Trump has statd several times. And hes had plenty of time and reason to resign, by now, to allow the President to appoint someone capable of controlling the rogue DOJ. Add it up and in total, Sessions is complicit in he corrupt DOJ, plain and simple.
Maybe. Sessions looks the original Judas to me though.
But for him, none of this Russian crap would be occurring.

No manager could ever be as detached, weak and uncooperative from their responsibilities as Sessions is. He is practically invisible. There has to be a reason why he is so reclusive and unwilling to hold anyone accountable.
Sessions has done virtually nothing to support Trump or uphold the laws of this country. He has to be a plant. Its the only logical explanation for such disgraceful behavior.
If Trump really wanted Sessions gone, he would have already been gone - nothing happens unless Trump wants it to happen with his people.
