One theory I have been entertaining is that team Hillary contrived to get an FBI investigation started on Donald Trump for the sole reason that there was an investigation open on her.
She was really, really, really, pissed that the FBI was investigating her for her secret server. She tried to pass off the idea it was just a ‘security review’ and Loretta tried to get everyone to call it a ‘matter.’
She knew she was in no legal peril, because the fix was in.
Nevertheless, she didn’t think it was fair that she was the subject of public knowledge of an FBI investigation and Donald Trump was not.
So they wanted to level the playing field by contriving something for the FBI to investigate on Trump and then try to get it out in public as happened for the FBI investigation into her.
The first July failed effort at getting the FISA court to buy this crap may have been the result of this effort, but failed.
This plot to start an FBI investigation on Donald Trump was probably the main topic at the tarmac meeting between Loretta and Slick.
It wasn’t the email investigation; that had been ‘fixed’ months before.
Let me add about the tarmac meeting between Lynch and Clinton, that in Lynch’s statement she said the meeting was “primarily social” and that “there was no discussion of any matter pending before the department or any matter pending before any other body.”
Her careful weasel words do not exclude the possibility of plotting how to get an FBI investigation started into Donald Trump.
