Kevlar vests are not that bulky. I Wore one daily for 24 years, not a vest.

I wore one as well. Only thing I can think of would be the "flotation devices/packs" that velcro to top of shoulder area. Perhaps one slipped down? And protruded outward?
Unless she had an ammo pouch secured by velcro on back. //

Thanks for that info-so I guess she messed up her back in a drunken trip-and-fall-too bad she doesn’t trip over her tongue so she only has limited use of that for awhile...
