I stopped taking NPR seriously quite a while ago.
And my understanding is the the GOP is flush with cash, while the D’s are practically broke.
There’s virtually no more real cash flow from the DNC down. They spent most of the reserves on getting Jones into the Senate (Alabama).
Presently, I think the GOP will take four Senate seats....and win the Flake/Corker seats.
House-wise...I can see the Democrats maybe winning five GOP seats. Beyond that....nothing else.
If they had settled on a clear message in the spring of 2017....gotten Hillary to leave the platform, and gone to donors....the party would be flush with cash and enthusiasm. This whole election is solely about getting some advantage for impeachment. What kind of national party theme is that? What’s in it for the middle-class guy? Lousy political theme, and they should have figured that out.
LOL! The dems being broke never kept them from spending like they weren’t.
If one believes this, then one must believe that the Democrat platform of more taxes, more illegal immigrants, more welfare, more taking away Second Amendment rights, a war on God and a more unsafe world is what the people want.
“And my understanding is the the GOP is flush with cash, while the Ds are practically broke.”
Yeah, then they run some bonehead candidate that they know nobody wants to vote for. They think we’re not on to it, but the jig is up.
Pretty much everything coming out of NPR and PBS is suspect. If it helps, we use it because there is nothing sweeter than using their own reporting against their causes.
If it doesn’t help, disregard it as unreliable, get your info from other sources.
It has been a burr under my saddle that I have had to put up with knowing my taxes are supporting those pieces of crap.
