Actually allot of things have changed. The Permian Basin out in west Texas was once under water, now it’s 2000+ ft above sea level. Islands that were once exposed are now several hundred ft below seal level. Sea levels are rising right now but not from what the global warming crowd want you to think. The Mississippi river dumps 300 million tons of sediment into the gulf of Mexico yearly. That’s one river on one continent, just imagine what they all deposit. 27 million tons of sand are deposited into the ocean yearly by the Sahara desert. That displaced water only has one place to go.
