You are so correct. They never had the proper legal authority to have been listening to that conversation in the first place.
After the IG report gets issued, Judge Ellis issues his decision, Manafort gets cut loose, then Flynn will be allowed to withdraw his plea.
Then several former employees of the Justice Dept. are going to face civil suits for going after a private citizen without legal cause.
Interesting, thanks.
“Raymond McGovern is a veteran CIA officer turned political activist. McGovern was a CIA analyst from 1963 to 1990, and in the 1980s chaired National Intelligence Estimates and prepared the President’s Daily Brief.
” He received the Intelligence Commendation Medal at his retirement, returning it in 2006 to protest the CIA’s involvement in torture. McGovern’s post-retirement work includes commenting on intelligence issues and in 2003 co-founding Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity.”
He’s also an anti-Semitic LaRouche nut. He was a Kerry supporter in 2004 but he is not so fond of Hillary at least publicly- claims she had him beat up for disrupting one of her town hall or other events by asking a question.
I have never been able to wrap my mind around the whole LaRouche business.
It seems way foggier than Scientology.
