In the 70s most venues where I grew up tolerated pot at music events

Only time cops went nuts was memorial stadium with Canned Heat and Savoy Brown etc......they went crazy with their uncover goons....dragging scores of folks out....a sharp cultural divide....it was a near riot and closed the show mid way....
