Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s widely anticipated testimony next week before the House Oversight Committee has been postponed, as the Justice Department IG has pursued new leads in his review of the Hillary Clinton email investigation, according to a congressional letter and sources familiar with the matter.
“It is of the utmost importance that your review be as fulsome, complete and unimpeded as possible,” Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., the chairman of the committee, wrote in a recent letter to Horowitz obtained by Fox News.
Horowitz was scheduled to appear before the committee on May 8. But Gowdy told Horowitz he wants to reschedule his testimony “as close to the day the report is finalized as is practicable.”
Gowdy said the decision to postpone is based on “the representations” in an April 23 letter from Horowitz.

By this point in Obama’s presidency, we were told, elections have consequences, get in the back seat and shut up.
It’s possible this is the result of negotiations with the swamp creatures (IE, we have a lot on you...);
but, if not, then we have been ill-served by Congress and the DOJ.
Only time will tell.

Perhaps the DOJ OIG and Special US Prosecutor Hubery have successfully flipped Andy McCabe...Loretta Lynch, Comey and others may be in deep sh*t.
They are waiting until the Dems take Congress so they can shut this all down.

I'm confident that the report will not be beneficial to Trump nor will it harm the Democrats...
You know what it feels like to me? It feels like we won, but we didn’t REALLY win. They never left. They will never leave, either, unless forcibly removed.
Is it possible they found more that requires investigation? This is the only reason that this makes sense to me.

Trump is like Gulliver tied down by dozens of ropes by little district judges and appeals and Congressional delays and recesses and appointees waiting months and months for confirmation. Gulliver is not even allowed to prosecute through a DOJ or ICE indictment (hands off—we’re a sanctuary city you know. Watch it.)

Of course it was postponed. And will likely never see the light of day.
The delay is by House Committee. They called him, but since he is about to finish the report (and it is reviewed by the players before it goes public), the House Commitee said to go ahead and finish the report, we’ll see you shortly thereafter.
