The whole “white” thing is racist. I am now triggered for real by these forms. Everyone else gets a geographical description of their ancestry. We get a pasty color. How can you say that Irish, Israelis, Kazakhs, Armenians, Italians, Egyptians, etc are all the same?
Blacks only get a color and a continent. Life is unfair. White describes a number of nationalities, many of whom have been at each other’s throats for millennia or at least centuries. Black only describes blacks. I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it. The blonde-haired, blue-eyed moron who used to shout “Jooo! Give me your money!” at me in Buffalo, growing up, has no claim on me based on mere skin color. A shmuck is a shmuck. He wouldn’t have known I was Jewish if I hadn’t worn a yarmulke. I’m glad I did. It showed him up for a shmuck.
