Members of a migrant caravan have reached Tijuana, Mexico, where they were preparing for a Sunday showdown with American immigration officials. The administration of President Donald Trump has described the group as a threat, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions called the caravan as "a deliberate attempt to undermine our laws and overwhelm our system."
Nearly 20 attorneys from the United States were in the border city dispensing advice to the migrants as a healthy slice of the nearly 400 people who ventured north through Mexico from Central America planned to ask for asylum Sunday, according to Pueblo Sin Fronteras' Gina Garibo, who has been helping to guide the caravan.

BACKSTORY Obama's done everything he can to suckup to illegals except fellate a latino on the Capitol steps. Obama's elevated latinos to the USSC, cabinet positions, admin jobs, absolved illegals of all culpability for falsifying official documents, welfare fraud, EITC fraud, murders, border violations, arms trafficking, drug trafficking. He stopped deportations, gave 'em jobs taken away from Americans, free healthcare, education, financed every other whim w/ tax dollars.
Obama is illegally giving out work permits, refusing to deport most captured illegals and he has illegitimately created a DREAM ACT by fiat. This is a man who has made absolutely clear that he has no intention of enforcing immigration law; so how do you make any kind of deal that relies on his implementing even tougher rules?

So the second fence is past the border? That means these invaders get processed into our system. Losing!
We do have to follow our own rules. If people seek asylum they will be processed. The approval rate for countries to our south averages 15%.

Decades ago they DID arrest and return illegal border crossers. I used to live in SoCal and would regularly see Border Patrol bring cars with illegals right back to the border.
I believe all that changed after Prop 187 passed with big number in CA and then was overturned by a federal judge (and upheld, IIRC, by the 9th Circuit). Ever since, CA has been an illegal overrun s***hole.
I put on another thread - why did this “caravan” walk an extra 1300 miles to San Diego, CA rather than the much shorter route to Brownsville, TX?

I believe the only thing that’s going to stop this invasion is for a million or more patriots descent upon the entire length of the border prepared to attack ANYONE who attempts to pass through our lines. And, we need to be prepared to STAY THERE until our useless government does what is required of it by the Constitution, which is to protect our country from invasion by foreign enemies.

Lawyers involved in aiding and abetting this invasion need to be arrested and charged with treason. My prayer is that they are all hanged at the earliest possible moment.

I’m 47 and this is incredibly depressing.
I loved growing up in the 80’s. Other than some fears of nuclear war, reflected in films such as “The Day After”, “ Threads” and “Testament”, and in some nuclear war themed pop songs, the 80’s were a wonderful time to be American.
When I was in second grade, Carter was President. Obviously, at that age, we weren’t political experts but we knew enough that, when we were on the playground, the entire class would sing a song mocking Carter, lol.
When I was in Eighth grade, Reagan was running for his second term. Around 99% of the student body were staunch Reagan supporters. Our school was a place of learning, not Leftist propaganda.
I tremble for the future of the younger generation. The Leftist Anti-American propaganda they are exposed to is destroying them and their ability to think independently.

The Ninth Circuit did not uphold the district court opinion because Democrat Gov. Gray Davis “settled” the case by essentially throwing in the towel before there was a Ninth Circuit decision. The dominant media never fully reported on the details of what the district court judge did.
