What an IDIOT.
A business has a right to sell what it wishes to sell, period .
Yes, that IS how capitalism works. We don’t have ‘committees’ to rule - we have folks either willing or not willing to put down their cold hard cotash...
Reminds me of one of my funnier encounters... A young women and her mother were having dinner at my home many years ago... The mother had been a member of the communist party in the USSR (which is not as easy as being a communist here) and the daughter asked me how we ‘came up with prices’. I didn’t understand what she meant at first - so she asked again. I tried to explain that everyone ‘makes up’ their own prices on items... chatted about the ‘invisible hand’, supply and demand etc... and it was going no where. So she looks at me and says, ‘do you know how we do it in Russia?’ I said, ‘no’. And she said, ‘we take a Sears catalogue and convert the dollars into Rubles. And if an item is not in the Sears catalogue, we guess what it would be based on the closest item we can find in the catalogue.
