Your assertions are incorrect, wrong and reflect ignorance or bias or both.

Republicans do not control the senate. Republicans lack the 60 votes to prevail.

The Republican House has always done it’s job and has passed tons of legislation passed up to the Senate where the bills were not taken up.

In effect, the House is of no consequence because it’s efforts are futile. The Senate with the 60 vote rule and a democrat insistence for total vote control insures that nothing gets accomplished.

As a member of the House, nothing you do actually matters. Why sacrifice and struggle when the effort is meaningless.

McConnell could have changed the filibuster rules on the first day of this session. Instead, he lets the Senate use 30 hours of “debate” for each of Trump’s nominees. The day that the Dems have 51 in the Senate, they will change those rules and they will say something that blames Republicans for the necessity of the rule change. Our Constitution says nothing about 60 votes to pass things in the Senate.
