I figured trying to convince a person not to run was just part of the game. If you’re the type that would quit at their urging, you’re not the type of person who should be running anyway. They sure tried with Trump. Every news gasbag in the country opened their newscasts with, “OK, let’s get this out of the way first: Donald Trump is NOT going to be president.”

This happens all the time on both sides of the aisle. Does anyone think President Trump was not advised to drop out by the Republicans?

The stunning discovery here: Democrats actually DO have a standard that they will uphold!!!
(Sure, it basically amounts to: "never obstruct a popular Dem candidate"... but still, they HAVE a standard!!!!!!)

Steny is #2.
This isn’t about a recording.
This is about trying to dirty up Hoyer to prevent him from
becoming the leader of the House RATs when Pelosi retires
or gets pushed out.

They are chipping away at the Old Guard. First Steny, then Jim Clyburn. After that, start packing your bags, Nancy. The progressives want you out!
