The reduction of “debate” time for presidential nominees from 30 hours to 6 (and 2 hours for District Judge nominees) has passed the Rules Committee and McConnell needs to QUICKLY bring that to a floor vote.
I know that “quickly” isn’t in the Turtleman’s vocabulary but maybe he can learn something?
He's thinking about maybe perhaps limiting the hours of debate on each one from 30 to 8. Perhaps. He's mulling it. That measure passed a Senate committee, of which he is a member ... but he's not sure when it will reach the Senate floor.
That's up to the Senate Majority Leader.
