Sessions recused himself.
Folks are taking him at his word.
You want people to apologize for taking Jeff at his word?
“Who will all these Freepers apologize to after they are shown to have been wrong? After they have maliciously belittled him for day after day.”
Do you include President Trump among those who owe Sessions an apology?

I hear you.
They seem to be little weaklings who were never paddled by the school principal ......... or by a hot woman.
Sessions as 1 of 100 is far different from Sessions as 1 of 1. As a Senator, he could play at being opposition, as have Ted Cruz and Rand Paul on many occasions, without really effecting much change.
You all apparently forget the FBI files that Hillary Clinton has had for many years.
You all also employ a simplistic dichotomy: that Sessions is either a pure white hat or a pure black hat. I assert that Sessions is, at best, a gray hat, an Institutionalist who wants to covertly clean up the bureaucracy without exposing the true depths of its criminality. He is a Company Man, even if he does not like all that his company does.
If both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are not indicted, then that would be a travesty - period. I would then expect an apology from all you fanatical Sessions defenders.
Sessions has extolled Federal criminals like the prosecutors in the Cliven Bundy case - whose case was thrown out with prejudice! That was not 3D Chess; that was a company man protecting his precious company. Regardless, that statement was unnecessary and inexcusable. For that alone, it is Jeff Sessions who owes the citizens of America an apology.
P.S.
I do not say that Sessions is part of the Deep State. I say that he is part of the UniParty. (The two are not synonymous.) Sessions was a Senator when the Constitutionally ineligible Barack Obama became President. Sessions knew; they all knew. They all covered it up. Do not tell me how honorable any of these people are.
If you think that such a man might never have erred, and that the Deep State would not use it against him, then you are naive.
P.P.S.
It is not malicious belittling; it is righteous indignation.
I am sickened by political machinations replacing rule of law. Jeff Sessions claims that he is restoring rule of law. he has already passively presided over unConstitutional acts by those under his authority which are endangering what remains of our freedoms.
No amount of multi-dimensional chess can justify that.
