Right. If Mueller subpoenas the President, he should do the same.
But, he won't.
Better to take the Fifth than drink one before being interviewed like a former Sec. of State we know and loathe.
It's the only smart thing to do when you're under criminal investigation. The problem is that it may sink him in the libel case, because taking the 5th can be used against you in a civil case (but not in a criminal case).
Agreed. Talking with the FBI in this day n age is likely to result in an indictment of some sort...even if innocent.
Anyone who talks to the FBI about anything should have their head examined. I wouldn’t ID my neighbor’s dog if an agent came to my door. I’m sick of hearing about their brave “rank and file.” All I see is career government stooges.
