It really depends on WHO are moving. It may well be that those who are moving are those who DISLIKE the liberal policies of the place they live in now.
If this is the case, then the red states/cities will become even redder.
I live in NYS, Upstate. Trust me when I tell you that you want the folks bugging out from here. It’s not the libs leaving for the most part. It’s righties who are taking the gov up on his demand for conservatives to get the hell out.

I’m an example. Born and raised in New York, although my grandad was from Mississippi. Got tired of my vote not mattering and moved to North Florida.
The problem is that the refugees from Democrat tax pits tend to vote for the same Democrat policies that caused them to leave their home states in the first place.
However, it is difficult to find jobs that pay $500K a year or more outside of NYC and San Francisco.
The tax thieves continue unabated.
The liberals who leave, learn nothing and instead infect the more conservative neighborhoods they flee to, with their liberal tax and spend candidates.
Well, they call themselves “progressives” ... appropriately so, as in “cancer is a ‘progressive disease’”
It’s a conspiracy to spread the filth around.
Lower taxes is the answer and also locking up criminals but the crooks in gov’t won’t do this.
I fail to see the logic here. I fled IL for GA. I see many, many Rust Belt immigrants here in GA. Most of them are Democrats. Nobody is reaching out to them to ask them to think about why there are no jobs in their rust belt cities; but there are jobs in NC, GA, FL, TN, and TX.
These Democrats are not coming up with an honest analysis on their own. The Rust Belt schools did not teach them to think about cause and effect. They were taught identity group is cause and effect. Oppressors and victims is cause and effect.
Meanwhile, Heritage, AFP, GOP, TeaParty, etal are busy preaching to the choir. They have no concept of reaching beyond the choir.
