Who will be prosecuted for this outrageous abuse of power?

Tucker put it nicely. It has always been about reversing the results of a federal election. The more I think about that the more pissed I become. That this nonsense was taken all the way to a special investigator based on what? What probably cause?

At the most, Assange lied, and the Russians were the ones proving him the intel. And so...Assange exposed that Hillary was a liar? Isn’t that information the US voting public should have?

Plan A was Russian collusion. After a year and a half, they have zilch.

Plan B was obstruction of justice (Trump guilty for firing Comey). Comey's memos actually undermine what he had claimed earlier about what was said, showing that Trump was not trying to obstruct justice. (Of course Mueller might still try that one if the Democrats regain the House in the November 2018 election.)

Plan C is to coerce Michael Cohen into coughing up something (true or false) that can be used to bring down Trump. At this point this is just wishful thinking on their part but they assume that Cohen will say whatever they want him to say to avoid decades in prison. If they convict him on state charges, Trump wouldn't have power to pardon him.

I believe the reason that Perez and the DNC filed this ridiculous lawsuit against the Trump campaign, et. al. is because the Russian collusion pony trick was running out of steam quickly on several fronts, like the Congressional investigations and the Mueller dead end.

The DNC is broke and their donors are skeptical in opening their deep pockets until they are sure the DNC is going after Trump. This lawsuit is a show of "force" against Trump and his administration because they "got" nothing else.

This is all show for their donors and true-believer base. Not sure how far this will go but we have to presume the democRATS are not so dumb as to think this is a good legal move.

It's not a legal move. It's a political maneuver masquerading as a legal tactic.
