Funny you should say that.About 2 weeks ago I brought my car in for its annual state inspection.A new rule for getting an inspection sticker says that no part of the license plate can be obscured...so I had to remove the frames I've installed.Those frames obscure only a small part of the plates...the part that says "The Spirit of America".I vigorously disagree with that statement,believing that Massachusetts is "The Spirit of North Korea",not America.
So now I understand that under Massachusetts law I can be stopped for this...and I hope I am.I hope I am because SCOTUS ruled in Wooley v. Maynard that states cannot compel people to display political statements with which they disagree...that case having involved New Hampshire's plates which said "Live Free Or Die".
