I have a friend who travels weekly. He has to carry a lot of sample materials with him that must be checked. The bag weighs about 70 lbs.

In some cases, the cost to check a 70 lb. bag on most airlines is pretty close to the cost differential to switch up to First Class.

I don’t begrudge some luxuries for people who have to travel frequently and far.

I’m dreading my 6:30 am flight from Baltimore to Portland next Tuesday. “Moooooo”

630am is a bear, out of BWI too I reckon, good luck.

BWI, in cahoots with Charlotte, have cost me one set of luggage and two cancelled flights.
