Another wave of high school walkouts is expected as students honor victims of gun violence and push for gun control on the anniversary of the Columbine High School shooting.
Organizers say more than 2,600 demonstrations are planned from Maine to Hawaii to commemorate the 19th anniversary of the shooting that left 13 people dead in Littleton, Colorado.
Ahead of the walkout, a 'Vote for Our Lives' rally and vigil was held in Littleton to remember victims of high school shootings, including the one that took place in Parkland, Florida on February 14.

CNN back in March dedicated an entire article to a school in North Carolina where one student walked out. Literally one guy, and there was a whole article about him. I'm sure he was counted in the whole "X number of schools had students walk out" figure too.
"A respectful gathering of students on the National Mall on this 20th of April, the 129th anniversary of Adolf Hitler's birth..."

Anyone gonna walk out to protest the Enoch Brown School massacre of 1764?
School’s out soon for summer, end of protests....well, until Fall.
My son’s school district is off today anyway.
The media is promoting and cheerleading for this.
If not for the promotion, 99.9999% of students wouldn’t know or care.
“Dude....wait.....what are we protesting?”
Students who wish to walk out from classes my tax dollars have paid for should reimburse me.
The students will take a summer break before starting to protest again in September....
