Is 36% independent usual for Texas or are more people declared than that?

Yes, most in TX do not vote in any primary and hence have no “D” or “R” label.

Those figures just show that 46% of those polled refused to say if they favored the Rep or Dem candidate.

Don’t feed the pollsters that call and lie to those who do the exit polls! ....Drives the media crazy!
