>>But at the request of a prosecutor and the victim's mother, McHenry ultimately accepted the deals, sentencing brothers Tommy Williams, 20, and Clarence Williams, 19, to 10 years to life on sex offender intensive supervised probation.<<
I'm going against my instincts here and think that the judge might have come up with the strongest available sentence. It looks like this group could have easily "skated" with a trial. I'd prefer that the six be hanged from the nearest light standard but am not blaming the judge.

Egregious, but most likely, these criminals will get in trouble again, at which time they could be subject to the possibility of life in prison, depending on the offense. If I were that grandfather, I’d be watching the police blotters, and make sure I showed up at any court appearances.

Further reading shows the girl wasn't little miss priss. a runaway with a drug use problem and an admitted liar about her age. a trail would have questioned her story and background. With a hard probation I'm sure these guys will be serving time soon. IMHO the judge got the best longest plea bargain he could . And the girls MOTHER asked for the plea to be accepted.

(Jesus said "love thy neighbor". I'm sure he meant you should act like it too.)

I doubt if anyone believes they will be leading an exemplary life from here on out....so they’ll no doubt be heading to the hoosegow before a year is out...
