“...And AG Sessions will support both Horowitz and Huber, and everyone who’s been ragging on him for over a year now will be eating humble pie as they watch perp walk after perp walk over the next several months....”

You might not want to bet the farm on that. Sessions is doing a VERY convincing job of looking like he’s OWNED by the Deep State. Sometimes when you smell a rat ... there’s a rat.

>>Sessions is doing a VERY convincing job of looking like he’s OWNED by the Deep State. <<

Convincing to you and to a lot of others, I guess. I’ve seen very little that I would call at all convincing.

On the other hand, I have seen what I consider professional behavior on Sessions’ watch. The Huber assignment, for example, was kept completely under wraps until Sessions himself revealed, first, that he’d assigned a prosecutor, and then later, that it was Huber.

No one leaked that a prosecutor had been assigned and even after Sessions made that announcement, no one leaked his name over the next two weeks or so.

Meanwhile, Horowitz appears to have been able to do his job unimpeded, compared to, say, the intrusion of Loretta Lynch on the same Clinton email investigation, and he was allowed to issue an extensive report of McCabe. Some cover up.

It takes time to do a proper investigation, and this one is extensive. Look at how long it took to first find McCabe was the leaker and then nail it all down and then issue the report. But it was solid. McCabe is toast even though most of the people commenting in here don’t get that. He will almost certainly be indicted by Huber, or by another prosecutor, as will Comey.

Ask yourself this: Sessions has very little support from any quarter, so why hasn’t Trump fired him? Same reason he won’t fire Pruitt. He’s way too valuable right where he is. People in here keep tearing into a person who just might be one of the most honorable men in DC using extremely sketchy evidence, and I find that pathetic. It’s like everyone wants heads to roll but putting a case together takes time so the impatient among us choose to form a circular firing squad and start shooting.
