candidate Trump was correct when he said that we squandered $6 trillion over there and only made things worse. He also said we could have rebuilt everything in our own country with that money.

Trump was correct. Trump needs to roll up sleeves and drain the swamp.

Start in the pentagon and langley parking lots with a few gullotines and Madam Lafarge in charge.

You’re out of date. His newest plucked out of the air number is $7T. God only knows where he got that number from. We’ll only have spent $11T from 2001 to 2018 on defense, plugging in $700b a year from 2016 to 2018. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_budget_of_the_United_States $7T is 2/3 of defense spending. Is Trump saying that 2/3 of our defense spending has been on Iraq and Afghanistan? How does he justify his calculations? Or is Trump beyond measly details such as numbers?
