“Why would Russia want to kill former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia?”
Glenn Beck called Jack Barsky, the Russian spy who became an American citizen after years under cover here. His take was that it was not Putin, as Putin wants to be the strong man in the world, not a pariah. Barsky thought the more likely scenario was an oligarch decided to do it on his own as a way to curry favor with Putin. But if there’s a backlash against Putin, it would put that oligarch in a tricky situation.
It’s all just so ridiculous.
I didn't consider oligarchs as players in this event but without identifying THE person/persons/government/independent agents/rouge agents/double agent/spooks/et. al. there's no way of knowing the motive and therefor the endgame they were hoping to achieve.
Without knowing the culprit it's all speculation.
It certainly is plausible. Why would Putin do something so brazen in a foreign country for so little gain knowing he would put a target on his back?
I dislike dismissing everything as a false flag event but it's becoming impossible to keep track of the known suspects let alone the unknown suspects.
Anything is possible. Anything is plausible.
