The Sessions letter is dated March 29th. The letter simply reaffirms the Nov. 13 Boyd letter.

These senior prosecutors will report directly to the Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney General, as appropriate, and will make recommendations as to whether any matters not currently under investigation should be opened, whether any matters currently under investigation require further resources, or whether any matters merit the appointment of a Special Counsel.
Specifcally, I asked United States Attorney John W. Huber to lead this effort.
Huber is overseeing the Deep State investigations and allocating resources. He hasn't been tasked to prosecute.
Also notice that he still answers to Rod Rosenstein.
Oh, the US Attorney leads a task force level investigation, and just lets it go. Sessions asks him “Why aren’t you prosecuting these cases?”
Huber looks at him in surprise, “Prosecute? I’m a United States Attorney with about 50 Assistant US Attorneys on my investigative staff. I had no idea you wanted me to prosecute them.”
