1. We are already “in the middle of as civil war.”

Exactly where we should not be and have no national interest.

2. Our soldiers are exposed to the same possibility of a chemical weapons attack.

They wouldn’t be, if they were brought home, where the belong.

3. Chemical weapons are outlawed. If we allow their use, without consequence, because it’s “somebody else’s problem,” then we will someday soon be sorting through dead civilians here on U.S. soil.

Why are you so hard up to escalate our presence there? There is no gain to be had. Those who want to kill us, will suddenly change their minds because of any action or inaction we take in Syria? Maybe if those assets are used properly, we will have what we need in place to stop the next attack on the US.

Perhaps you can afford to bury your head in an isolationist mound of fantasy, but I won’t.

Either our “yes” means yes and our “no” means no, or else our word is not worth sh*t.

Most of the world’s civilized nations signed onto the chemical weapons band. What good is such if we’re gonna just throw up our hands and walk away when some ass wipe decides he can use them with impunity. And don’t give me that “false flag” conspiracy bullsh*t.
