Trump Tweet: Never said when an attack on Syria would take place...

Never said when an attack on Syria would take place. Could be very soon or not so soon at all! In any event, the United States, under my Administration, has done a great job of ridding the region of ISIS. Where is our “Thank you America?”

“He now has second thoughts about his boast to Russia that definitely “missiles ARE coming”

The absolutely dumbest thing Trump ever did.

No doubt about it.

When I read the tweet I was convinced it was fake news.

“That we created and funded?”

What’s this “we” sh*t?
You got a mouse in your pocket?

“We” had nothing to do with creating ISIS - Soy boy toy, Obuttfck - and his clan of communist, sodomite cocaine snorters - did that. Hey, Obuttfkr, “you DID build that”

Just IMAGINE if Trump had said: “No one knoweth either the day, or the hour....” CNN would scream that President Trump is now going BIBLICAL on us, and demand his immediate impeachment! Ha-ha!

So your answer is what? Depose Assad and help ISIS? That’s absurd. The Russians have a way larger interest in Syria than we do, those countries are right on their doorstep. Assad is a bad guy, but so are a whole lot of players in that region. We support regimes, not all the much different than Assad’s. Have we learned nothing? We forced the Shah out and got Khomeini, we got rid of Saddam and got 10 plus years of chaos and thousands of American lives lost. It’s time to worry about this country.

He should send those destroyers up the Potomac and take care of our real enemies here.

Actually, I’m pretty sure they’re pretty sure it wasn’t Assad.

The UN attempted such an investigation - and Russia vetoed the effort. Gee, I wonder why Putin wants no investigation into a chemical weapons attack?

Categorically false, both Syria and Russia welcome an independent CW investigation in Douma.

In fact, an international team from OPCW is enroute to Douma to conduct an independent investigation at the invitation of the Syrian government with Russian troops providing security.

Western interventionists won't be able to manipulate the results of this OPCW investigation they way they did in the aftermath of the 2017 sarin poisoning incident in Khan Sheikhoun.

Which is why the Russians vetoed the US sponsored plan at the UN, it was a repeat of the flawed investigation in 2017.

5. To make it look like he is actually doing something, Trump has moved significant naval forces into the area. This has forced the Russians to sortie their fleet in the Med and has scared the Syrians, I'm sure.

It has also put the US in position for kinetic action if needed in the future. For now, the presence of a carrier battle group in the Eastern Med will have a considerable calming effect on everyone's behavior.

Yes, I believe that, notwithstanding any other moves, this alone has greatly yanked Putin's chain. Any guesses on how ready his Med fleet is for action, let alone how seaworthy it is? It does give us an opportunity to gather intelligence (of course we would be expected to do that routinely). It also has forced Putin's troops and 'advisors' on the ground to take up defensive positions and likely has disrupted many of their plans.

Cat and mouse, anyone?

My response is that RUSSIA is the enemy. They are behind all this intrigue - just as they always have been, from the beginning.

There are fools, here on FR, who think we can or should be “friends” with Putin’s Russia ... That is insanity. The Ruissians are America’s mortal enemy - and they shall always be.

In fact, the entire psy-ops game that the commies have manufactured - namely the dissolution of the Soviet Union - is the biggest and perhaps most successful action the commies ever ran on the West. We fell for their deception - hook, line and sinker.

FNC hasn’t been reliable since the EU got a hold of the Murdochs by their short hairs.

Fox has always had some dim bulbs around like Shemp Smith and Kilmeade. I don’t think it has changed all that much recently.

“with Russian troops providing security.”

LOL! Yeah, “security.”

Why don’t you go live in Russia with your comrades?

“Kilmeade isn’t the problem. He’s just its mouthpiece.”

Mouthpieces got what they deserved after the war. Mouthpieces ARE a problem.

I’m certainly not saying that Russia is an ally or even a friend. We must keep a wary eye on them, like we should with every nation. However, bombing the Syrians to punish Assad for a supposed gas attack, would only embolden his Islamist enemies. We tried that once with the Muj in Afghanistan and ended up with AQ as a result. Bring our assets home and use them only when American vital interests are at stake. If your concern is the Russians, then step back and allow them to waste their blood and treasure there, that is less assets they will have to use against us, if that day ever comes.

Here is the problem folks, we are surrounded by literal living moron, idiot, politicians, both Republican Democrat, a media that is lost at sea, a corrupt federal government, DOJ/FBI. The Zuckenberg hearings were nothing but a big joke....Zuckie must have been laughing inside as to how dumb these Senators and House members really are. You had to listen to Senator, Bill Nelson of Florida discussing “chocolate”!!! this guy in a Senator....when he in not capable of taking out the garbage every evening!!!

I once had a great boss, that promoted me to becoming the President of his company. He told me a piece of grand wisdom...”Son....do not ever take out your gun unless you plan to use it, and you have all facts, pro & con at and in hand.”...”You can threaten, you can rant, you can play good cop, bad cop, as you run your daily business...but, always keep the enemy guessing and,. they will go nuts, then settle with you before they go crazy”!!! But...if you are forced to use your weapon, shoot to kill. Good advice....Sounds like POTUS Donald J. Trump & Jim Mattis at work!!!

Problem is Putin’s interest in GASPROM, a Russian state-owned energy company that seeks to hold a natural gas monopoly in Europe ... Vs the Saudis, who want to “muscle in” on Russia’s “territory.” If not for the fact that the U.S. has NATO allies, the issue would be of no concern, as you have stated. Now, considering the NATO countries there, why do you think Russia wants to make certain that Europe receives its NG supply only from GASPROM?
